It might be me or I'm getting the feeling when Network Rail wants to a design a new island platform for disbaled, they don't think about the large number of Cyclists in the city using the trains but also if there are going to be concerns for the cyclists, it also asks the question whether the design will take into needs of the disabled community properly as it should under the disability legislation but the article here:

Does make me wonder whetehr Network Rail is just thinking of standard designs and not taking into needs the community of the local area. Anyhow, I have now started to get involved following this and I am hoping to hit any problems with the disabled side of view of the plans on the head now before the work is one and serious problems are caused.
